Adam Piser – Founder/CEO
Adam Piser founded Domain Development in 2004. Since then, Mr. Piser has completed many successful development and construction projects. Prior to Domain Development, Mr. Piser worked in real estate management and acquisitions for Arthur Goldner and Associates, Inc. a full service real estate firm with over one million square feet of property.
Mr. Piser worked as a residential real estate broker in Manhattan, leading his firm in sales in 2002. Mr. Piser compiled a substantial client base and expanded the scope of services for his firm, Manhattan Apartments, Inc.
Mr. Piser has a Masters degree in Real Estate Development and Investment from New York University. He also has a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan.
Michael Michod – Project Manager
Mike Michod joined Domain Development in September 2006. As project manager, Mr. Michod handles property management, budgeting, comprehensive internal and external communications, and support. He is an integral part of Domain’s construction and development goals.
Prior to joining Domain Development, Mr. Michod worked for Mervyn’s California, a large west coast retailer. He served as a financial planner and buyer for pro sport merchandise categories. During his time at Mervyns, Mr. Michod excelled in vendor negotiations, and maximized sales by identifying new business opportunities. Mr. Michod received the Speed of Life sales award in 2002.
Mr. Michod currently holds an Illinois sales agent license, and is a member of the American Association of Notaries.
Mr. Michod graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors degree in Economics.
Martin Avila – Construction Manager
Mr. Avila has worked in construction for nearly twenty years. He began in 1989 working as a carpenter for Dove Construction building mostly single family homes. From there, Mr. Avila worked for Zepeda Construction, rehabbing CHA developments and working on City of Chicago contracts.
In 1994, Mr. Avila began working on high rise buildings for Lakeside Construction. After three years at Lakeside, Mr. Avila completed the Union Carpenter Program in 1997. For the next 8 years, he worked as a union carpenter for Triad Builders and American Invsco.
Mr. Avila has been with Domain Development for 3 years. He brings a level of quality and attention to detail that allows our projects to run smoothly. Mr. Avila works closely with owners, architects, and project managers insuring that each project receives the proper amount of oversight and hands on experience.
